Night markets in Thailand are so part of its culture it is hard to walk around towns and cities without seeing someone sell something on the street.
From tee-shirts, jewellery and fake designer handbags there is plenty to see and choose from. The problem is after a while the stalls or start to blur in to one so it makes a refreshing change to find a market that sells something a little different.

The Cicada Market in Hua Hin has given the cool kids of the area a platform to sell their own handmade items. So here instead of cheap imitations you’ll see contemporary visual art, handmade clocks, fashion designers lines, photography and a range of creatives giving the market a hipster-hangout feel where you can pick up something unique from your travels.
Offering a new vibe of recreations for Hua Hin locals and visitors, the flea market-cum-walking street on a 10-rai-plot of land is a place where they can appreciate art, enjoy a myriad of activities, savour good international food and shop till they drop. (From http://www.cicadamarket.net/)

Cicada Market is open every Friday (4pm-11pm) to Sunday (4pm-10pm).
